Walking in the Père Lachaise, I’ve seen this very beautiful scene …

So, yesterday was my weekly photo-meeting with Anne-Laure: for this event, I went to a very famous cemetery in Paris (the Père Lachaise) … there I’ve taken many many pictures including pictures of flying birds … I have to admit that this set of pictures is far less happy the those I took for the last topic (to be bright = briller in French) … but in another hand, I think I really like this kind of atmosphere !

Une semaine est passée … pour vous uniquement … car moi, je suis allé faire ces photos le lendemain de celles prises au Jardin Albert Kahn. Je suis revenu de ce merveilleux cimetière avec plus de 180 photos, alors autant vous dire qu’après ce post, il y en aura beaucoup d’autres …

Anne-Laure m’ayant prévenu que la plupart de ses photos seraient en couleur, je vous ai fait un petite sélection en noir et blanc.

Pour tout vous dire, cette fois, c’est moi qui ai choisi ce lieu et je l’ai fait pour deux raisons: La première étant que j’y suis déjà allé il y a quelques années sans appareil photo (grosse frustration …) et la deuxième étant que j’avais vu de merveilleuses photos de ce cimetière sur le blog d’Anne-Laure (elle sont là) … elles sont si belles que je voulais absolument y aller pour voir quelle serait ma vision de ce lieu … vous pourrez constater qu’Anne-Laure et moi ne voyons pas les chose exactement de la même façon … son regard est beaucoup plus éthéré et poétique que le mien (et j’adore … je suis même jaloux de ne pas pouvoir voir les choses ainsi ) … moi, j’ai l’impression de voir les choses de façon beaucoup plus contrastées … Mais je vous laisse juger par vous même. J’espère que vous allez aimer car le sujet est assez … spécial

And now, the second Friday with Anne-Laure.A week has passed … for you only … because I took these photos the day after those taken at the garden Albert Kahn. I came back from this wonderful cemetery with over 180 pictures, so I’m glad to let you know that after this post, there will be many more photos …Anne-Laure told me that most of her pictures would be in color, so I made you a “small” selection of black and white pictures today.To be honest, this time I have chosen this place and I did it for two reasons: The first being that I’ve already been there a few years ago without a camera (big frustration … ) and the second being that I had seen some wonderful pictures of this cemetery on Anne-Laure’s blog (they are there) … they are so beautiful that I really wanted to go there to see what my eyes could catch … So, you can see that Anne-Laure and I do not visualize things exactly the same way … her pictures are much more ethereal and poetic than mine (and I love them … I’m even jealous of not being able to see things that way ) … I feel I see things in a much more contrasting fashion … But I’ll let you judge for yourself. I hope you will like the subject because t is pretty … special :-)
